Employers are an integral part of Duke’s work-study program, providing students and the University a significant service by offering employment and financial support. Job Posting Instructions for On- and Off-Campus Employers

Employers should use the following list of steps to post employment opportunities for Duke students. Special considerations for both on- and off-campus employers are provided below as well.

1. View the job vacancy notice form.
2. Complete the job vacancy form and save it as a Word document.
3. E-mail the document to studentservicecenter@duke.edu or, if you do not have e-mail access, print the job vacancy notice form, complete it and send the posting to the Duke Student Service Center.
4. If approved, your job will be posted within a few days, and will be viewable to students immediately after posted.
5. Interested students will contact you directly.

Considerations for on-campus employers only:

If a work study student has used up all of his or her work study eligibility for the year, please submit a Cost Distribution Form through iForms and make sure work study cost center and corresponding GL accounts are no longer used to pay student.

Considerations for off-campus employers only:

If a work study student has used up all of his or her work study eligibility for the year, please understand that the Financial Aid Office will no longer be able to reimburse the student’s earnings after this point.
