Apply for Aid

We want to make the financial aid application process as painless and easy as possible for you. The process for applying for financial aid is determined by your status as a prospective student applying for Early Decision or Regular Decision, and whether you are a Domestic Student or an International Student.

Please select the appropriate link at left for complete application requirements, instructions, and due dates.

Tracking Your Application Progress

If you've already begun your admission application and indicated that you're interested in receiving financial aid, you can track the progress of your financial aid application via your online Student Self-Service account.  All financial aid application tasks are listed there, and their status is automatically updated daily.

When tracking the progress of your FAFSA, CSS PROFILE, and IDOC, however, please allow 10 business days for your application tasks to be updated.  These components of the application are sent to Duke from other agencies, and may take several days to reach us during the busy application season.

NOTE: The FAFSA application will not be uploaded to the applicant access account until the end of February. This item will stay incomplete until that time. If you have received a confirmation from FAFSA that the application has been received, you can go ahead and remove Duke's code and insert another school code.
